We will stretch (and frame if you choose) your fine art paintings on canvas!

Our last blog entry was telling you of our printed canvas wraps…while we’re discussing canvas art, the topic wouldn’t be complete if we didn’t tell you about how we will stretch original fine art paintings on canvas.

Perhaps you’ve inherited fine art that needs a little TLC, maybe you purchased canvas art from a local artist, or a beautiful piece while on vacation.

Nowadays, social media paves the way to quickly learn of an artist’s body of work. From there, you can easily commission an original piece of your own. It’s more economical to have an artist paint and ship you the final painting rolled, rather than pay high shipping costs for a fully stretched piece.

But now what do you do with that rolled art? No matter how you came to acquire your canvas art, we employ a hand stretching technique that secures your art over appropriately sized and selected wooden stretcher bars.

We offer a gallery wrap technique which allows you to hang your original art with or without a frame. Typically, with a “gallery wrap” the image wraps around the sides of the canvas bars which gives you framing options, which we are happy to show you during your visit to our gallery. We also stretch for placing your art into a traditional frame or float frame (aka floater). More about float frames in another blog!

We have solutions for whatever your project requires!

Additionally, if you’re an artist and you would like your primed canvas material stretched for you, just give us a call. We’re happy to prepare a custom size ready for your creative genius!
