Have you been to the fully renovated historic Broad Theater in Souderton? If not, you really have to check it out. While you’re there for the movies, look around and see some of the cool framing projects we’ve been doing for them!
We seem to be showing you a lot of needlework lately, but it`s what`s currently coming in for framing. Besides, how can we not share these incredible works of art with you! This is a stacked frame including a fillet. We installed a spacer to keep the UV filtering museum glass off of the textile.
Ever wonder if UV filtering glass is doing anything? Check out this rare ca. 1970s King Crimson blacklight poster. See the difference from the top of his (21st Century Schizoid Man`s) head and his mouth area? The mouth and lower area seen has UV glass, the top (nose & eyes) do not. A blacklight posters is printed with inks specifically designed to fluoresce under a black light. The inks used contain phosphors which cause them to glow when exposed to ultraviolet light emitted from black lights. Putting UV filtering glass on these types of posters will minimize the intended effect, however, it will protect your investment for years to come.
Who went to a Genesis concert in 1972? Did you get one of these? Probably not, they`re pretty rare with just 1000 ever made. Pretty cool it`s lasted all these years. We archivally framed it for years to come!
Here`s a really cool one for all you Genesis fans! A VERY RARE poster produced by Charisma Records in 1970 to promote the Trespass album. This is when there were only 4 members and drummer Phil Collins was just getting started with Genesis. This beauty was archivally mounted and protected with UV filtering Museum glass.
We recently raised & floated these cool original pastels. Seen in-progress here... The white-on-white framing makes for a great clean, contemporary look.
Stop in sometime and check out some of our design professional’s artwork! We recently did a project where we all did our own interpretation of “RAIN.” They look great together on the wall!
The still shot of this lovely piece of needle art just doesn’t show off how glimmery the gold handwork is. Check out the video on our FB page or on our YouTube channel.
Spectacularly spirographic! While we`re on a roll, here`s an impressive piece of work by another of our oh-so talented stitchers! You really need to zoom in on this one!
We`re always impressed when our very talented customer`s do work like this! Paul also did a great job helping select a wonderfully complimentary frame for this lovely piece of needlework.
We recently DESIGNED & PRINTED this large teaching display piece for our customer Hank. Hank will be at the Gunmaker`s Fair at the Kempton Community Center this weekend. He`s holding an example of a really interesting piece of PA-Dutch-area created firearm-history from the early 1800s. Check out pics for details.
We recently framed this lovely original oil painting for our customer. It’s titled “Italian Poppies” by local Bucks County artist Dot Bunn. Check out more of Dot’s impressive artwork @dotbunnart where you can learn how to visit her studio!
Here’s a beautiful photograph (canvas wrapped) of two best friends. Sadly, within a short time of one another, they both had to cross the rainbow bridge, but what a wonderful tribute and a lovely way of honoring them & their relationship. 🌈
2 big canvases at about 40” x 60“ each! These light and airy looking works of art are for a customer’s beach home. Installed in a white float style frame, we think the end result is just beautiful! I can hear the waves crashing now.
How about this impressive cut paper art! Scherenschnitte which means "scissor cuts" in German, is the art of paper cutting design. What a lovely wedding gift.
Here`s some work from the wonderfully talented Joan Bibbo! We scanned Joan`s originals, color corrected them and did some canvas giclée prints for her. Check out more of Joan`s originals at Regina Marie Design Gallery in Skippack. It`s a great local artisan market!
